If you go to the doc and they have you pee in a cup, then they are doing the same test that you can do on your own at home. If they do a blood test, that is very much accurate. Ask for a blood test if you want to know for certain…or just wait a while and take another home test. If you wait a couple of weeks, you won’t have to use such an expensive test…you can use any test (even the dollar store ones).

Your Dr will use a pregnancy test with pretty much the same sensitivity that you get when you buy one yourself. Of course they could also perform a blood test if you really think that you are pregnant but it is not showing with the urine.
If you are interested in the sensitivities of different hpts check out the babyhopes website : http://www.babyhopes.com/pregnancy-test-sensitivity.html
They list a bunch of different tests and the lowest hcg level detected for each.
    Good luck

I bought some online that measured 10mlU/ml and can be used 7 days after conception.

The doctor doesn’t usually have to have the most sensitive because you have normally tested +ve before going to see him/her
