my brothers girlfriend is pregnant and has about one month left shes been going to the antenatal clinic alot recently and i was woundering what kind of tests would she be having at this time in her pregnancy, i dont no alot about pregnancy and the tests so i was just woundering (:

They probably just want to be sure that the baby is still alive and well, as well as growing correctly. They also want to know if the mother is dilating too soon or anything, for the risks of early labor may be there. That’s why the prenatal checkups only get more frequent as your due date approaches. I’m almost there myself!

Depends on how her pregnancy is progressing, if she has been experiencing any problems with fetal growth. Plus in your last month you have your appts. weekly.
At the end of pregnancy you have to see the doctor more often (once a week in the last month). They’ll check the height of her uterus and palpate her stomach to feel the position of the baby. They’ll also check for the heartbeat.
