I recently had root canal which has caused a very painful abscess so I have, for the past four days, been taking two sets of antibiotics, Ibuprofen and Paracetamol with Aspirin. I have also, for the past year, been trying to get pregnant and could be at the early stages of pregnancy – (waiting until Thursday to do a test). I explained this to my dentist and he said it was fine if in the very early stages, but I’m a bit worried with all of these in my system and I have felt quite sick – although I have eaten before taking them and drank plenty of water. Any help or views would be really appreciated, Thanks.
Thank you all so much for your answers. I don’t know that I am pregnant because my period is not due until thursday ! Fingers crossed ! ! I am just worried that all of the medication I am taking is not good if I am. Thanks again, I will call the Doc in the morning for advice.
Can Antibiotics and painkillers be taken if in the early stages of pregnancy?
