Question by crimsnclover: Severe cramping during missed period, negative pregnancy test few days ago?
Okay, so I have had a TON of pregnancy symptoms. I was tracking my cycle and we had sex during my ovulation period.
About a week later I was spotting and cramping. Then my breasts were sore, but that went away after a few days. Another few days later my period was due, that was last Monday. I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday, in the afternoon after holding my bladder all day, and it came up negative.
I never got my period, and on Saturday I had MAJOR cramping. I’ve been pregnant before, and it felt like contractions. And I had a major headache… but my period still never came.
That went away, and now here I am. I’ve wasted a ton of money on pregnancy tests…. and my insurance doesn’t kick in for another week, so I can’t get a blood test quite yet….
Do you think I am pregnant??? Do you think a pregnancy test would come up positive now???

Go see your OBGYN or go to the Hosp. ED!!! WHy do people wait? Believe it or not you can die from complications during pregnancy. Get off the computer and get your @$$ to the Dr!
possibly take another test
that happened to me before and the doctor took me off the pill he said i needed a break from it, i didnt get my period until the next month and it was really bad but the following month i was back to normal,

You should see a doctor, and you have to do it fast.
I can’t some up with anything from your symptoms, but I think it was just a sign that your period is coming. Cramping and headaches are quite common period symptoms.
We’re not doctors, so we can’t say what is happening with your body. Just go and see a doctor.

It could be because you took the test too soon. or your not doing it right. only 30 seconds under urine any thing pas that you could damage the test and get a negative reading.Do you have a planned parent hood its a place where you go and pay like 10 dollars or nothing at all and they make you go to the bathroom and pee in a cup and then tell you if your positive or not!
If you are in the US. You can go to any free clinic. You can try Planned parentHood. Call your local DHS and they will tell you a list of places that give free health care on different days. Doctors many times go to churches and small clinics and give free care.
There are things like Agape pregnancy centers. Just look in your area in the yellow pages under pregnancy testing.
As long as you are not bleeding and do not have a fever, you should be ok. I personaly like to wait on home pregnancy test. They are good for what they are. But that is it.
it is highly possible, the amount of hcg hormone is not strong enough yet. I have periods for two months before my test comes up positive even a blood test. I do advise that you try to find a free clinic just in case you are having a mis carriage (god forbid) also it could be a tubal pregnancy and it definitely wont show up then and that’s very dangerous so forget insurance check yourself out
