Question by Freckles: How Soon Can I Take a Pregnancy Test?
I keep up with my cycle pretty good and I ovulated on the 23rd. This is also when I think I may have concieved. What is the soonest I can take a pregnancy test?

Do one on the day your period would be due. Or if you can get a test that works 5 days before your missed period get one and do it 2 days before your missed period. I find they don’t work until a couple of days before your missed period.
Hi! You may get a positive as soon as 8dpo. Everyone says to miss your period, but I couldn’t wait that long. However, if you a get a negative that soon, do NOT be discouraged, you may still get a positive:)
I was in the same boat as you about a week ago. Believe it or not, I got a very very very faint line at 8dpo from a dollar tree test. They are supposed to be 25 miu (which is as sensitive as a drs office test). Its great if you don’t want to spend the money but still want to test everyday like me when I was ttc this one. The next day, I couldn’t stand the anticipation and took a first response at 9dpo. I also got a very faint positive on that test too, but it was more noticeable from the day before.
The next day, I took another first response and the line was much darker at 10dpo
11 dpo I took three more tests and a digital and well, I am pregnant..
That’s great that you are in tune with your body, it makes it that much more fun..
Oh BTW, I started having symptoms right away but they were soooooo similar to my period symptoms, I thought for sure I was doomed and I was getting my period again. As of this date, I still have not missed my period. I am going to miss it this Tuesday.

On the following website it says that you can test 19 days after the last time you had sex and it should show if you are or not by then.

I tested 7 days before my period was due and it showed a positive which was true. I used the brand Answer.
You can test up to 5 day before your missed period. If I were you I would test on the day your period was due.
