Question by Sarah: how soon after possible conception can you take an accurate pregnancy test?
My husband and I are trying to have a baby and I believe I may have conceived on or around the 11th. I’ve had a few pregnancy symptoms lately and just want to know how soon I can take a test and know! I just don’t have any patience!

I tested positive about 13 days after my husband and I had sex, so give it a good two weeks, but it could take longer it just depends..

I would wait 2-3 weeks after the possible conception to take one. At that time it should definately be accurate. Usually after 2 weeks it is pretty accurate. Goodluck! =]
Five days from before your next period
I would wait until you miss a period, or four or three days before
Make sure you use the first urine of the day
Make sure the box said early pregnancy test
Some tests will pick up the hormone 5 days before your missed period. They never worked for me though. So your best bet is to wait until your missed period and take the test with the first morning urine. Good luck and baby dust to you!!
I got a positive at 10 days past ovulation, which was 11 days after the night we had sex.
The day you miss your period or using an Eary detection test you may get a faint line if you use first of the morning pee a day or so sooner.

me and my hubby were in the same boat i knew i ovulated on the 21 of feb my period was due feb. 6 we had bought a bunch of the dollar store test and i started taking them 5 days before my missed period and i finally got a very faint line 4 days before so i took another one the next morning 3 days before my missed period and the line was darker so i took a digital and it said yes so good luck and God bless you

I took a first response test and found out I was pregnant 2 days before my expected period.
I got my positive when I was 2 weeks. I would wait til the 25th and take a clearblue digital test. Mine popped up with pregnant within 20 seconds and it was middle of the day urine. Good luck!
You would probably get an accurate preg test on the day your period is due. Many tests can give you results 5 days before your period is due but a most accurate test is the periods due date and each subsequent day. Hope this helps!
