Question by Survivor: How earily will the symptoms start and when can take a Pregnancy test?
For the past 2 weeks my breast have been tender and sore and my stomach seems as though its getting bigger around my belly button area and I can’t hold my stomach in like I use to.
Also I feel bloated and I’m having trouble sleeping at night cause I can’t find no good position to sleep in cause my stomach is uncomfortable when I lay on it and it feels to heavy when I lay to the side, like all my weight is being pulled by my stomach.
I don’t want to take no pregnancy test and I don’t want to go to the doctor because I just got married in December of 2005 and I don’t want to disappoint my husband with a baby already. I’m so scare, can some one tell me how can I find out without taking a test and going to the doctor, if I am and HOW CAN I TELL MY NEWLY WEDD HUSBAND?

i thought that women are supposed to wait 5-7 days before they test themselves.

If you are still unsure, wait a but longer. How long has it been since your last period? Have you and your husband been trying for a child?
If you can’t wait, you might want to buy a test, just use it when he isn’t around. (If you can find the time. Maybe at work or over at a friends house.)
The best way to tell him is over a nice dinner at home.
You can discreetly buy a pregnancy test from your local drug store. They are basically the same test as what they would give you at the hospital, and are very cheap, fast and accurate. If you *are* pregnant, you should begin receiving regular care as soon as possible.
As for the step about telling your husband, I can’t really tell you what to do. It really depends on your relationship and what stage of life you guys are at. If you really love one another, you can find a way to fit a baby into your life.
you can have symptoms start as early as a few days, there is no way to tell if your are pregnant for sure unless you take a test or go to the doctorss, if your period is more that a week to two weeks late, GO TO THE DOCTORS, if you cconfirm that you are, before you tell your new hubby, please confirm it, you may just be stressed out and things in your body are out of wack, but if you are tell him in the most gentle way you can, i am sure he wont be that upset, children are the BEST gift from above and they are wonderful to have.
tell him YOU WILL BE FATHER HONEY NOW GO MAKE MONIES.
You can get a pregancy test at the drug store. They cost around $10.00. You can take the test as soon as you miss one period. You take the simple test right in your home by yourself. Maybe your husband would be happy if you are pregnant. My husband was happy. Just tell him and if he says anything bad, just tell him he should have used something if he didn’t want a baby.
Breast tenderness can start as early as a week after conception. You shouldn’t be scared to take a test…if you are pregnant, you’re going to have to tell your hubby anyway…a test will only let you know. If you are pregnant, the best way to tell your husband is by sitting him down and crying… Men are suckers for tears. But being that it was created by the both of you, it is up to the both of you to decide what will happen next. Good luck!
There’s is no other way to tell but to take a test or go to the doctor and if you just got married then your husband should understand
GOOD LUCK
The symptoms you’ve described appears very late in the pregnancy (7 months on). So unless you’ve missed your period for several months, then the symptoms are highly unlikely that you’re pregnant. When a woman is pregnant, the uterus doesn’t get big enough to reach the belly button until around 20 weeks into pregnancy.
So again, if you haven’t missed a period or only missed it a few days or a week the symptoms you describe is mostly likely not pregnancy.
If you are really worried, buy a pregnancy test kit.
What do you mean, you don’t want to take a pregnancy test? That’s silly… you’re going to have to take one eventually, otherwise you won’t be able to tell for sure if you are pregnant!
Your stomach would NOT be getting bigger in the first 2 weeks of pregnancy. You might just be bloated. I didn’t show with my pregnancy until I was 5 months pregnant.
Once you miss your period, take a pregnancy test. If that one comes up negative, wait two weeks and take another one. If you want to be absolutely certain, get a blood test done by a doctor to check for pregnancy. Aside from waiting nine months to see if you give birth, there is no other way to find out if you’re pregnant.
You wouldn’t start showing this early, if you are pregnant. Usually the early symptoms are that you have missed your period, your breasts might be tender (but that could be caused by a number of things other than pregnancy), your nipples will start to change shape (become bigger), you will feel extremely tired, and you will have to urinate frequently.
Did you and your husband not discuss having children before you were married? You may be surprised at his reaction! Be happy that the two of you may have created a MIRACLE – a sweet baby boy or girl.
By the way, you should probably buy a pregnancy test – you can buy a two-test-kit for about $14 at Wal-Mart. The morning after first day that you miss your period (the day your period should have started), take one pregnancy test. There’s nothing to it; just urinate on the test stick where the instructions tell you. Wait about 3 minutes and you’ll know. I say to do it with your first urination of the morning because that is when the pregnancy hormone is strongest early on. If the test is negative, wait about a week and try it again. Sometimes the test isn’t accurate until 3 to 4 weeks after conception.
Good luck and be excited if you are expecting. You’re married – that’s the main purpose of marriage, to make children!
