Question by beemer: How acurate is a homemade bleach pregnancy test?
I saw on a website that if you add bleach to your urine, it could show if you are pregnant of not. It said that if it fizzed or became frothy, there is a possibility I could be pregnant. Of course it fizzed. Does anyone else have an experience using this method or how accurate it is?

That just sounds weird. Go buy one and see how accurate it was though. I bought some at Dollar General for /each.

bleach can get frothy in straight in water
plus doesnt mixing amonia and bleach make mustard gas or something? ammonia is high in urine

Hello i’m Niah, and I did the bleach test and it fizzled llike crazy for me and I took a Pregnancy Test and it came back positive and I mad e a doctor’s appointment and it came back I was pregnant. So I beleive it is true.

I tried this and there was fiz then i made my bf try it and there was fiz and froth and i am sure he is not pregnant! lol

DO NOT TRY THIS! It is deadly! Mixing urine in bleach will cause it to bubble and create Chlorine gas. Chlorine gas was used in WWII by the Nazi’s. C’mon people, Don’t risk your life; buy a test! If you don’t have the money find a planned parenthood.
I just did this test about and hour ago and it fizzed for a moment then started bubling for 3 minutes sraight like it was boilin. im so excited ..now im goin to get a real test. oh the urine also turned light yellow almost whitish.
I’m 15 and my period is late. when I tried it it changed color real quick then started fizzing a bit. It just stopped then it fizzed again and over flowd and got super hot. And the smell was sooo bad. I’m going to try and get a home kit from wall may though
I tried it and it fizzyed for me…. have had a lot of difficulties trying to figure out if im prego …? I doubt this method works but the fizzy ness was pretty sweet .. lol
Do not try this, I tried it for some dumb reason, and it fizzed and frothed up and overflowed the glass with fizz, and I maybe pregnant, but I also might kick the can if I inhale all that gas again!!!! Instant headache from that sh*t
I took a test a week ago and there was a faint positive, but I took one this morning and it was negative. I have a majority of the signs of pregnancy and my boyfriend is CONVINCED. I tried the bleach test and it fizzed like crazy!! The gas hit me pretty hard though lol I dumped it down the drain and now my kitchen just smells like a pool. I’m hoping this is accurate!!! I’m fifteen and literally just tried this. I’m on seasonale so I can’t assume I’m pregnant due to having a missed period. I take the pill every day and my boyfriend and I have only done it without a condom twice but I’ve been feeling kind of weird lately and since I can’t drive I decided to try this test and it fizzed immediately, I didn’t even think I was pregnant but was just doing it as a precaution. Bleach and Urine will always react with each other. Its a chemical thing. Male urine would react just the same. Mixing bleach and urine is as dangerous as mixing ammonia and bleach. DANGEROUS gases are released that can kill you. I’m only 16..did my research + used common knowledge. If u do choose to take this “test” than don’t do it in an enclosed area…and yah. :/
