How accurate would a pregnancy test after 2 weeks be?

Question by johngreen10778: How accurate would a pregnancy test after 2 weeks be?
I have been told that a pregnancy test 2 weeks after having sex can be accurate. But *how* accurate? If it comes back negative, what are the chances of pregnancy? Like, if my g/f and I had sex on the night of October 31, how accurate would a pregnancy test administered on November 15 be?

I WOULD WAIT A WEEK AFTER PERIOD WAS DUE
THERE ARE SO MANY FALSE NEGATIVES
IT’S ALL DUE TO THE HCG HORMONE OF EVERY WOMAN

  1. Motherof3 says:

wait a week and take a test, there are such things as false negative, and she needs to miss a period before taking a test

  2. carameliz says:

The earliest a pregnancy test is likely to be accurate is 5 days prior to your period. Even then, it will be much more accurate 2-7 days after a missed period. It took mine 1-2 days after a missed period to show up positive.
