Question by Sammy: After intercourse how soon can you take a Pregnancy Test?
I know I should wait until the day of or day after my missed period. But if you have intercourse during ovulation when can you try a hpt and possibly get a positive? Waiting isnt much fun but I have a couple hpt and want to know when the earliest I cant test by the way I have First Response Early Pregnancy Test 6 days Sooner.

Give it 2 weeks. It should give you positive results by then, if you are pregnant.

14-18 dpo. If you test too soon, you are just waiting a pregnancy test. It takes 6-12 days just for implantation to occur.
It varies from woman to woman. Some women will get a positive as early as 7 days past ovulation, while some will only get a positive a week after their period is late. I’d hold out until 14 days past ovulation.
If you’re desperate to know, you can also go to a dollar store and pick up pregnancy tests from there. They can be a bit temperamental and can give you some very convincing evaporation lines, so don’t take them as gospel. However, they can detect pregnancy as early as 9 days past ovulation, so they are useful. Just back them up with a name brand test to make sure.

best thing is to wait 2 weeks.. if it says no and you miss ur period take another and if it still says no then go to the dr..
