Question by Jacquelyn: a missed period? Negative pregnancy test?
so i did have PROTECTED sex in January, prolly around the 8th. I got my last period before the 19 maybe around the 12th, so my period for Jan. should already have come.
now, i am not on birth control so we used a condom.
BUT i am…anorexic i guess you could say. i binge and then starve for a few days and ect.
i guess you could say i am stressed. im 19, my job sucks, money is tight, and i have 16 credit hours at school.
yesterday night i took a pregnancy test… negative. i figured i didnt have to wait for the morning pee if i was already this late with my period. i did drink one bottle of water that day, wen pee at work, cam home then had to pee again and took the test.
Negative.
Wat is going on? I dont want to waste another test tomorrow morning so if i miss it again next month, i will for sure.
if there is a baby i need to start taking care of it NOW
help please
if there is a baby, you jerk, it would already have a heartbeat by now! I would never consider abortion for my baby! and I would not have to drop out of school. smarten up!
its college… they have *gasp* ONLINE COURSES! Ever think that maybe it was for single parents? and i am prolly not even pregnant. Dont make such rude comments again.

This will cause your periods to go out of sync and can stop them all together.
You need to start taking care of yourself or how could you ever take care of a little human being!
Your anorexia could very well be stopping your cycle. You should seek help. I wish someone had told us about my sister before it was too late.
My sister died in college 4 years ago from anorexia. RIP Julie
Stress and your diet affects you’re period. It will most likely be late or you missed it. Don’t worry too much, If you are too concerned then go to your doctors and they can do a more accurate pregnancy test and they can advice you what to do from there on, pregnant or not.
Since you have issues concerning weight and food, then it’s entirely possible that your body has responded by stopping your periods. Women don’t ovulate/menstruate if they are starving (which is essentially what you do), are below a certain amount of body fat, or are stressed. This can and does happen for prolonged periods of time, not just a one-time thing, because if your body fat is too low, then your body can’t risk getting pregnant by ovulating- both you and the fetus would die.
You need to go to your doctor- not having enough body fat and starving yourself like this can cause many more health problems, from striping your heart of needed fats and thereby causing cardiac arrest, to issues concerning growth and development, to issues with getting pregnant and a high risk for miscarrying if and when you do decide you’re ready for kids. Missing your period is the least of your issues, and I hope you get the courage to tell you doctor about this and get help.

How and why birth control fails and who it fails the most.
You have NO excuse NOT to be on birth control especially when it can be free or at a very low cost to you. 1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you.
This will ask you questions about what you would like out of your birth control and match you up with the one that would work best for you. https://www.plannedparenthood.org/all-access/my-method-26542.htm
FYI . . . .
A simple one-chambered tube that will eventually develop into the heart begins to pulse at 21 days. So it not accurate to say it has a beating heart -it is the *precursor* to a beating heart. An embryo has something -a very primitive heart-like organ- that flutters or pulses regularly but the pulsing is caused by the maternal circulatory system pushing blood through it rather than the embryo causing it. No one knows when the embryo or fetus takes over control of it’s own circulatory system.
Your facts aren’t truthful ; )
Do whatever you need to – parenting/abortion, online courses, whatever~
Take another pregnancy test using your first mornings urine, if there is hCG in your urine it will be built up the most then and should be detectable.
